Since it calls for CREATIVITY, the following ten tips is based on the acronym of CREATIVITY!

Competent in the profession, relevant marketable skills. Be job takers like Amos, Joseph and Daniel or Paul, Luke, Philemon (DAL Canada, management consultants); or job makers like Priscilla and Aquilla ( DAL Canada shoe factory) who go into profitable business and use the profit for His Kingdom.

Risk-takers - environmentally -pollution of smell, smoke, dust, dirt, noise, poor hygiene and minimal health care. -unfriendly authorities subjecting you to constant surveillance, harrassment, interrogation, fabrication of charges and even possible imprisonment. -move from your comfort zone!

Everything to all men, that some might be saved! This calls for experience which must first be gained in your home country of the relevant skills you have acquired, before embarking overseas. Reach out to all social classes of people-diplomats, government servants, foreign investors and nationals of the host country, only after you have experienced this in your home country ( lead weekly Bible study/prayer meetings in your workplace ).

Approved professional pursuits calls for initiators and ingenuity, outside-the-box-thinking, in addition to the conventional professions such as English language teaching, medicals, consider marshall arts instrution, sports management, magazine editorialising. Avoid sin by association industry, e.g. an Accountant in a brewery or cigarette factory.

Timescale of commitment in terms of longitivity but not at expense of integrity. Be stayers , not quitters when the going gets tough/rough!

Integrity in the profession, serving in a spirit of humility, modelling maturity and stability, with first priority to do the secular work with excellence, before sharing Christ! After all "People read us a great deal more than they read the Bible. They see us, they only hear about Jesus Christ."Alexander McClaren. Don't be a job faker!

Victorious living in that you accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative and don't mess with Mr. In-Between ! So easy to complaint, grumble and be grouchy! If that is what Christians are, why would our colleagues be attracted to it?

Industrious in our pursuits , calls for working hard, giving worth to the job, not working to the clock and even willingly going the extra mile.Endure a six day work week of 14 hours a day even!

Trustworthy in your speech in that your word is your bond, and your aye is aye and nay is nay--no double standards! " People do not care how much you know until they know how much you care." Chuck Swindoll

Yea in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us, if "we fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." Heb 12: 2
